This "Groovy Aircheck" was recorded in a hotel room in Kankakee, Illinois during a cross-country trip on July 24, 1978. It's John "Records" Landecker ("Records" is truly his middle name) on WLS in Chicago. Be sure and check out the 2nd Boogie Check. It seems that the engineer-on-duty didn't know about the "bleep button" ("Hope we got some ratings points for it 'cause I think I just lost my gig!").
